HUNTERS ELEMENT | PRO TEAM
I love hunting and fishing and I’m passionate about film making and photography. I love sharing my adventures and am especially fond of encouraging others to try bowhunting. I’ve hunted all over New Zealand and have taken 11 different species across Australasia. I have been running Amplehunting for 12 years. We host and guide hunts for sportsmen and women from all over the world. It’s incredibly gratifying to share the elation with a successful hunter, especially when they have travelled half way around the world. I am really passionate and privileged to wear Hunters Element on a daily basis on the farm and hunting so it gets a good thrashing.
My greatest achievement is the realisation of who I am through my failings and accomplishments with my favorite sport Bowhunting. To date I have taken over 50 big game animals with the bow ranging from Buffalo to Chamois. I’ve managed to gain the recognition of “Master Bowhunter” which was a real honour and reward for a lot of hard work and training.
My favourite Hunters Element gear includes the new Odyssey V2 range as it is extremely waterproof and breathes well. For my base layer, I like the core+ top & leggings as they work well all year round and are really comfortable. The Zenith Hood is another great bit of kit and a perfect mid-layer for when it's a bit cold. I also like canyon pack as it is the perfect size when i'm heading out on a day hunt.
